Secondary Glazing

We stock two types of secondary glazing / double glazing systems, filmglaze and magnetglaze.

Filmglaze - a plastic film glazing system that you fit and heat-shrink with a hair dryer.
Magnetglaze - a self adhesive two part magnetic strip that adheres to rigid plastic sheets (unfortunately we do not supply plastic sheets), please see the Film Glaze category for this product.

Magnet Glaze is a simple method of fitting plastic secondary glazing sheets to a window. It is a 2 part self-adhesive strip, one part adheres to the plastic sheeting (be it acrylic or clear polystyrene, perspex etc.) and the other part adheres to the outer window frame (it is not intended to be fitted to the opening part). This provides a seal (providing the frame is flat), and an unobtrusive fixing method that allows removal of the sheet at anytime for cleaning, ventilation etc. This system …
