Your statutory rights are unaffected by the following terms & conditions

Returns

Faulty goods may be returned for exchange or refund. Please contact us first via email / phone with your name, address and a brief outline of the problem, we will then advise you of what to do.

Non-faulty goods may be returned for exchange or refund, but only within 28 days of you receiving the goods. All products must be packaged in original packaging, in original condition. We are unable to refund the postage costs unless the product is faulty. This is offered in addition to the United Kingdom Selling Regulations 2000, under which you have the right to cancel your purchase within seven days of receipt by the appropriate addressee.

Prices

All goods are charged in pounds sterling (£) at the price shown on the product page on the date of ordering. All goods on this website are shown including VAT. Delivery to UK mainland areas (excluding highlands of Scotland) is offered free on orders totalling above £40.00 UKP including VAT, all orders totalling under £40.00 UKP shall be automatically charged by our shopping cart £3.95 UKP to cover the cost of postage and packaging. Prices are correct at time of publication, Errors and omissions excepted.

Placing An Order

Our site incorporates a shopping cart which is designed to help with the order proccess, allowing you the customer to order in your own time. Our shopping cart, or trolley uses your hostname, or IP address (a unique number address which usually changes everytime you connect to the 'net) to store your order details. The information is stored on our server, and comprises only of: Your selected products details, your IP address (so we can determin who should be charged what), and some brief details which allow us to improve our service to you. The details are: Browser type (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape etc.), no other information is stored or collected. The secure credit card section is seperate to the shopping cart, and in no way do they share information between each other.

Payment Option

The following payment options are available:
- Online card payment using SSL secure server (128bit) which has been authorised by our bank.
- Using a card over the telephone, by ringing either; 01904 412354, or 01904 430404.
- By printing off the completed order and posting it with your credit card details to us
- By printing off the completed order and faxing it to us on 01904 430404.
We do not recommend emailing your credit card details, and cannot accept responsibility for any loss of any kind incurred by sending your details via email.

Credit Card Security

Our site uses SSL technology along with PGP. All credit card details are encrypted in software when the order is placed, and are only decrypted when they reach our computer. The card details are then decrypted offline to ensure maximum security and then deleted immediately after being transfered to the credit card terminal. The only backups of that number are our written copy, along with the printed carbon copy from the terminal. Your card details are not stored on any website, either encrypted or in plain text.

Delivery

Delivery of all our items take place using either; A Carrier, Parcel Force or Royal Mail (depending on size, weight and destination of goods). A signature may be required by the carriers at point of delivery. If there is no one available carriers may leave a card asking you to contact them to arrange a convenient time for delivery.

In the event of any items in your order being out of stock, we shall contact you via email or telephone as soon as possible. Out of stock items will usually be delivered within 30 days of your order being placed, and you will be offered the option to cancel all or part of your order.

Customer Service, Complaints and Support

Our phone lines are open MONDAY, TUEDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY, between 10:00 and 16:00. Calls are charged at the standard rate. Complaints are always taken seriously at Homecrafts (FOXDIY.COM), should you have reason to complain we request that you phone us on either 01904 412354 or 01904 430404, as opposed to email, as this allows us to provide an efficient service. All complaints shall be acknowledged within five working days. All calls shall be dealt with in an efficient manner, and shall be kept confidential. You, the customer shall be kept informaed about the progress of your call.

Privacy Policy

Privacy is taken very seriously at Homecrafts (York) (FOXDIY.COM). We will only use information collected by us about our customers lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code Of Conduct.
Information is collected from our customers for two reasons:
a) To proccess your order efficiently
b) To provide all of our customers with a satisfactory service
We shall only email you in the future if you have given consent via the order form (a tick box), and even then you shall not be sent any promotional emails such as adverts & offers.
We will how ever confirm your order via email within 48hrs of receipt of your order. Should you email us, we automatically take that as consent to receive a reply unless stated otherwise in the email.
We shall not pass your email address to any other company other than bodies involved in the order process
We collect the following information when you place an order with us:
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Remote host address or IP address
- Browser type
- Credit/Debit card details

Some of this information is required by our bank to process your transaction, and shall be given to them upon request. Any information required to resolve legal problems will be passed to the relavant authorities.
